Peter Robinson has done a terrific job over the years in getting some of the best interviews. It's a real shame that none of these have been played anywhere near the main stream media. As a member of the Hoover Institution he has had access to Milton Friedman, Thomas Sowell, Victor Davis Hanson, and a plethora of Conservative Political types. Recently, Newt Gingrich sat down with Robinson. I found this on my facebook, as the Gingrich campaign began spreading it around yesterday. Whether you like the former Speaker or not, (I fit firmly in the Newt for President camp,) there is no denying that the man has an unparalleled intellect in political and historical matters. The harshest criticism of Speaker Gingrich is that he has too many good ideas, ouch. If you want a criticism of Gingrich, listen to his desire to see gas prices drop to $2.50 per gallon, rather than to drop to what ever the market dictates when allowed to seek their natural levels. Oh! I long for a politician who truly understands economics.

Comments do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the blog as a whole. Follow the rules of conduct you should have learned as a child, and things will be groovy. Ignore them, and you will learn that the First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech and not the right to be heard. Spam will be deleted immediately without moderation. All comments being used to pimp your business or website selling payday loans and such will be automatically deleted, no matter how gratuitously flattering you attempt to make them sound.

Why should I vote for a chubby old white guy? It can't be just because he's so darn smart, so determined, or so experienced. It certainly can't be because he's the GOP candidate, and an Establishment candidate. It simply cannot be just because he's capable of organizing his thoughts, highly educated in history, government, traditions, world affairs, military strategy, financial issues, social issues, religion, and is in fact an educator. I can't think of a thing. :)
